A place where children grow
'Little Learners' is an Ofsted registered nursery offering childcare exclusively to students and staff of the University of Reading. With a capacity of 106 places for full day care, the nursery is available for children aged from three months to five years and is staffed by a team of experienced and professional childcare practitioners. There are 12 places for extracurricular activities including half term club, dance classes, which are chargeable in addition to your nursery fees.
During school half-terms the Nursery can offer childcare to children aged five and six years depending on availability. The Nursery is also able to offer free education sessions to children who are in the term after their third birthday subject to availability. An after school service is available from 4.00pm until 6.00pm.
This purpose built facility has five child-centred rooms that lead directly onto the outdoor area. Each room is designed to be flexible to the needs of the children in which it provides care. Three of these rooms, named Daisies, Bluebells, Poppies, group children according to age and each have their own staffing structure, routine and activities.
New contemporary equipment is available throughout. The onsite cook ensures that the children are offered fresh, nutritious meals and snacks daily.
