The Hub is situated just inside the main entrance of the Students’ Union and is the first point of contact for general enquiries, student advice, sports and societies, media and volunteering. The Student Officers can also be found on the first floor of the The Hub.

The Students' Union Reception is situated in The Hub. Services provided here include ordering/collecting NUS Extra cards, meeting room bookings, minibus bookings, advisor appointments, admin service (faxing, postage and lost property). The Reception team is happy to help with all enquiries. Just pop in!

The Hub
The ‘Orange Area’ is a small comfortable meeting area by the coloured windows in The Hub.
This is an ideal space for holding informal meetings and is available to book Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 6.00pm.
For more formal meetings, the RUSU Boardroom is a large meeting room situated above The Hub. The Student Officers are also located here.
The room has several layout options to accommodate meeting requirements, details of which are available from Reception. The Boardroom can also be divided into two smaller separate meeting rooms, individually known as the 'RU' and 'SU' rooms.
Each of these rooms can be booked both internally and externally. These meeting rooms are available to book Monday to Friday 9.00am - 6.00pm.
The Lounge
The Lounge, our unlicensed social space, is situated just outside the Students’ Union building next to car park 4.
It contains two meeting rooms available for internal bookings as well as a lounge area and an outdoor garden area.
The offices for Spark*, the student newspaper, the studio of Junction11 and our student TV RU:ON production house are all located in The Lounge .
Meetings rooms are suitable for student clubs and societies to use. These meeting rooms are available to book Monday to Friday during the day.
Room booking forms are available from the Reception in The Hub or can be requested via email.
