As a student of the University of Reading, RUSU provides quality services, venues and events.
The money spent in our shops, café, bar and nightclub is used to support the great services we provide in order to benefit you. We strive to provide our students with a one-stop-shop for everything you need.
Take a look at our brand new retail outlet Campus Central. More than just a convenience store it provides everything you need on a day-to-day basis as well as University branded hoodies and other goodies.
In the Students’ Union building our retail mall hosts a Blackwell bookshop; reserve online and collect in store, Uni-Cuts hairdressers, Cerealworks; the campus renowned bagel shop, Kimee; an oriental food store, the Proper Pasty Company; the place to grab a quick bite and Advance Services & Solutions; an IT repair shop and gaming zone.
On the lower level you’ll find our coffee bar Café Mondial; with its soft sofas and free WiFi this is a great place to relax, chat and grab something to eat. Mojo’s Bar offers a pub atmosphere with a great menu and an extensive patio area overlooking Whiteknights lake.
Our award winning 3sixty nightclub is also a great venue hosting comedy nights, gigs and club nights.
As well as our commercial services the Students’ Union building also houses our support services in The Hub. This includes our Student Advisors offering confidential advice and Student Activities team who facilitate our extensive number of societies and sports clubs.
