International Advice...
The University of Reading is made up of a multi-cultural and diverse community. The Students' Union provides immigration advice and services to the many international students studying here.
International students (those of you who are non-EEA nationals) are usually subject to immigration control and it is important that they understand their immigration status and continue to meet with the requirements of their visa. We can advise on any concerns that may arise.
Many international students like to work on a part-time basis during their studies. This can be a great way to develop new skills and experiences which can be essential to help future employment prospects. However, there are certain restrictions which need to be followed. The RUSU student advisors can help with understanding these.
